Cabbage in nutrition
Even the ancient Romans used cabbage as a cure for various wounds, ulcers and skin diseases. Cabbage is delicious and extremely healthy.
Cabbage is popularly well-known for its many healing properties:
- Minerals from cabbage accelerate cell metabolism and blood circulation to reduce blood pressure and the occurrence of atherosclerosis.
- Cabbage is very good at preventing cold and flu because it contains vitamin C. Since vitamin C disappears when boiled, a lot of fresh cabbage and sauerkraut should be used.
