Development of a family handicraft production resulted in a foundation of the company ’Janja’, which deals with production and processing of cabbage with a tradition longer than thirty years.

Initial processing of cabbage was located in the courtyard of the family house. The capacity was 30 tons of fresh cabbage in a round. In the seventies, building of new generating capacities began in the family farm near the village. Since 1978, cabbage has been processed in the current premises of 240 t capacity in a round.

The Company ‘Janja’ Ltd. was founded in 1991.

The family tradition, technology and extensive experience are a prerequisite for production of high-quality products, which is proved by numerous prizes and awards for quality - GOLD medal for quality at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad.

The care for the quality and safety of our products was confirmed by the introduction of the HACCP System in 2006. By maintaining the system, our customers gain confidence both in the production process and our products.

The main activity of the Company ‘Janja’ Ltd. is production of fresh cabbage and sauerkraut - heads, shredded cabbage, leaves (vacuum).

We sell our products both in domestic and international market.
